At Trajectory Tutoring, we believe every student has the potential to succeed when they are given the right guidance, structure, and support.

We’re Tom and Tay, the founders of Trajectory Tutoring. After graduating in 2019 and going on to pursue careers in finance and law, we realised something important: many of the skills that helped us succeed academically were never explicitly taught in the classroom. Learning how to study effectively, building strong habits, and developing confidence were just as important as the content itself.

During his time completing a Commerce degree at the University of Sydney and throughout his work in finance, Tom spent six years tutoring students, gaining first-hand insight into the impact that the right mentorship and study systems can have. With the right structure and guidance, students not only improved their results but also developed greater confidence in their abilities.

That experience became the foundation for Trajectory Tutoring.

Our approach goes beyond simply helping students understand their schoolwork. We focus on equipping students with the strategies, discipline, and mindset required to become independent, confident learners. While improved academic results are often the outcome, our broader goal is to help students build skills that will support them well beyond their school years.

Because when students learn how to learn, their trajectory changes.
