IB 44 | ATAR 99.75 | English and History Tutoring

Hi! I'm Josie. I studied a Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies at the University of Sydney, majoring in English and Media Communications. In high school, I took the International Baccalaureate program and received 44 points overall, equivalent to a 99.75 ATAR. I have over eight years of tutoring experience, teaching kids from primary to high school levels across the IB, HSC and NCEA curriculums. During this time I helped many students improve their written works — one student improved her English IA from a level 5 to level 7 mark, and many others have achieved 7 points in their English exams. I not only help teach students the curriculum content and provide feedback on their work, but also coach and encourage students through the study habits, strategies and mindsets they need to succeed academically. Beyond the grades, I also care about the student's wellbeing and will tailor my tutoring approach depending on the student. I am very passionate about helping students achieve their full potential and will always do my best to help you reach your academic goals.
